Refund Policy
This policy explains when a payment may be refunded and how refund requests are reviewed for AIGatewayX subscriptions.

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid AIGatewayX subscriptions and paid plan changes processed through the customer console or an approved checkout flow.
2. Full refund eligibility
- A payment that has not been used may be eligible for a full refund.
- Duplicate or accidental payments may be reviewed for refund where payment records confirm the issue.
- AIGatewayX may review refund eligibility based on payment status, billing-cycle usage, subscription state, and applicable law.
3. Used billing periods
If a paid plan has already been used during the active billing period, refund eligibility may be limited or declined unless required by applicable law or separately agreed in writing.
4. Downgrade-related refunds
Standard downgrades are scheduled for the next billing cycle and do not automatically create a refund for the current active billing period. If a full-refund condition applies, AIGatewayX requests the refund first and automatically applies the selected plan after Paddle approves or completes the refund.
5. How to request a refund
- Use the Refund Requests menu in the customer console where available.
- Include the account email, payment date, transaction or invoice reference if available, and the reason for the request.
- If console access is unavailable, contact AIGatewayX through the official support email. Customers may also use Paddle buyer/order support where applicable.
6. Review and processing
Refund requests are reviewed against payment records, usage status, subscription status, and applicable policy. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle or the applicable payment provider, and the time for funds to appear may depend on the payment method and financial institution.
7. Non-refundable cases
- Charges for a billing period that has already been used may be non-refundable.
- Refunds may be declined for policy abuse, repeated misuse, fraud risk, or violations of the Terms of Service.
- Third-party fees, taxes, currency conversion, or bank charges may be handled according to Paddle, payment-method, or legal requirements.
8. Service access after refund
If a payment is refunded, related paid-plan access may be canceled, downgraded, or adjusted according to the refund result, active account state, and any pending plan-change request.
