Payment & Subscription Policy

This policy explains how paid subscriptions, billing cycles, plan changes, cancellation, taxes, invoices, and payment issues work for AIGatewayX.

Effective date: April 7, 2026

1. Paddle as billing provider and merchant of record

Paid subscriptions are processed through Paddle. For paid transactions, Paddle may act as the reseller/merchant of record and may handle checkout, payment processing, taxes, invoices, receipts, and related billing records. AIGatewayX provides and supports the licensed service.

2. Plans and subscriptions

AIGatewayX may offer FREE, STARTER, PRO, BUSINESS, or other plans. Paid plans are subscription-based unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

3. Checkout and renewal

  • Customers can review plan details, recurring subscription terms, and applicable policy links before continuing to checkout.
  • A paid subscription may renew automatically unless it is canceled before the next billing date.
  • The next billing date, payment status, and payment history may be reviewed in the customer console where available.

4. Plan upgrades

When a customer upgrades to a higher paid plan, the change may be applied immediately and any required prorated charge may be collected at the time of change.

5. Plan downgrades

Downgrades are generally scheduled to apply from the next billing cycle. The current paid plan remains available until the end of the active billing period. If a full-refund case applies, the refund is reviewed first and the selected plan is applied automatically after the refund is approved or completed.

6. Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation through the customer console or official support channel where available. Cancellation stops future renewal, but access and billing-cycle handling may depend on the plan, payment status, and applicable refund policy.

7. Taxes, invoices, and receipts

Taxes, invoices, receipts, and billing documents may be calculated or issued by Paddle according to the customer location, transaction details, and applicable law.

8. Failed or disputed payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, or becomes disputed, AIGatewayX may limit, suspend, or delay paid-plan access until the billing issue is resolved.
